I've got a 1985 Buick LeSabre in my dad's yard that still runs but has a few white trash issues. Its front passenger front door only opens from the inside, the rear passenger door doesn't open at all, and the antenna is just a piece of speaker wire tied to the nub and tucked under the hood. If you want to roll up the electric window on the driver's side, I've got two wires and a drill battery to attach them to.

Wine connoisseurs may not be inclined to throw a bottle of WalMart brand into their shopping carts, but "there is a market for inexpensive wine," said Kathy Micken, professor of marketing at University of Arkansas, Bentonville. She said: "But the right name is important."

White Trash Recipes

This is for people who think a regular bologna sandwich is just too healthy...

Ingredients:

1 or 2 slices of bologna
2 slices white bread
1 slice cheese
1 TB oil/Crisco/lard
ketchup
salt/pepper
Directions:

Fry up the bologna in the oil. Add salt, pepper, and any other spice you wish. While still in the frying pan, add cheese. Allow cheese to melt.

Put ketchup on bread, put bologna on bread, enjoy!

Good with beer and potato chips.

Man gets 6 months for swinging alligator!

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- A man who swung an alligator at his girlfriend during an argument was sentenced to six months in jail.

David Havenner, 41, of Port Orange, pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of battery and possession of an alligator, said Linda Pruitt, spokeswoman for the State Attorney's Office. He changed his earlier plea of not guilty, she said Wednesday.

He was sentenced to six month in jail with 48 days credit for time served during the Sept. 1 hearing, according to court records.

Sheriff's officials said Havenner was keeping the 3-foot gator in his bathtub and swung it at his girlfriend, Nancy Monico, 39, during an argument on July 16.

Monico told investigators that Havenner beat her with his fists, then grabbed the gator and swung it at her as she tried to escape. The gator struck Monico at least once, after which time Havenner threw empty beer bottles at her and then kicked her out of their mobile home, she told investigators.

Havenner told investigators that Monico bit his hand because she was upset that they had run out of alcohol.

The alligator was later released into the St. Johns River, wildlife commission officials said.

One of the new guys out on crew was a no show yesterday. Apparently his girlfriends ex boyfriend showed up at their place, and he eventually landed in jail for a three day weekend. Then he needed a cash advance on his next paycheck (payday was yesterday) so he told the secretary/accountant the owner told him it was okay. So she cut him a check and then found out he hadn't been approved, at which point we had to track them down in the field to have them bring the check back. But he had already cashed it.

Yes, my gentle good readers, it’s that time again-

Will there be naked bodies? Perhaps? How about heavy petting in the restroom? Hey you never know. Any violence? Well That I don’t know, but there’s always a chance. Will there be drunkenness? That, we can promise. Lots of drunken belligerent people chain-smoking like there’s no tomorrow, drinking like fish, making fun of one another, arguing over who was the best Soul group of the 70’s, the best Burroughs quote or who was the best Doctor on Dr, Who, or the best ways to cure drug addiction, based on experience.

But more than that, here’s the best reason to show up: It will be Randy’s birthday. Yes, the man who chose long ago to forget how old he is does celebrate his birthday, especially when other people are buying the drinks & gifts.

He wants lots of Victory-oriented stuff. Especially if someone wants to buy him the stage II exhaust system, raised handlebars, or a gift certificate to have his tank custom-painted.

But if that’s not enough, this may be Randy’s last week in Los Angeles, as he goes north on Friday, to work for Apple Computers.

And who knows? He may spend the entire night talking in third-person.

Again, that’s The Shortstop Bar- 1455 Sunset Blvd- Just a couple of blocks up from Echo Park Ave, going in the direction of downtown LA. Doors open at 5:00.

He said that on the first day he didn't see any results, but the next day it was better. By the third day, his house was clean, the dishes were done, and he had a huge dinner on the table.

The third man married an Oklahoma girl. He boasted that he had
informed her his house was to be cleaned, dishes washed, the cooking done and laundry washed. And this was all her responsiblity. He said the first day he didn't see anything and the second day he didn't see anything but by the third day some of the swelling had gone down so he could see a little out of his left eye!

so I was doing some crazy ass drinking thing called the urban iditarod and one of my teammates told us this story.
she was working in some strip club and one of her piercings fell out on the runway. so the bartender finds it and drops it into a rocks glass with some of the well vodka. she walks up to the bar, the bartender says he found her piercing, so she goes oh hell yeah, takes it out the glass, puts it back in, the downs the shot vodka.

Doin' it up Right!

So I gotta admit, when me and my dad go deer hunting we don't drink natty ice and eat hotdogs off sticks. Anyone got any elegant/gourmet redneck style? AKA fine southern living?

I gotta say my Dad has it down the best when we used to go fishing on the gulf coast. (gulf of mexico)
We'd take his truck out towing a 13 foot aluminum v hull boat and fish for shark. For real, shark. They fight like crazy for an hour, and unlike the cats in Asia that just eat the fins, the meat is super good since it's so lean.

At about 4:30pm, we'd take big hunkin' pieces of meat and put em on a couple hooks, then with the deep sea reels on 7 foot surf rods left secured at the beach, put the bait on the boat and take it out to the thrid sandbar. Drop it off and dump a little extra chum in the water. Then go back to shore with the drag on the reels set super loose and wait.

While waiting, it was time to grill up some steaks and drink Canadian Club whiskey and water on ice listening to Van Morrison off the stereo in the truck. When night fell we'd fire up the gas generator and turn a couple of spotlights onto the water.
Then maybe around 9pm when we were kinda dozin' off from the booze and tasty food you'd hear the sound... rrrreaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
that's the sound of the reel spinning like crazy because something big just took off with the bait. My Dad would always give either me or whatever guests we were taking out the first one, unless of course we were with his regular buddies. Then it was every man on his own pole. And with that wicked buzz goin' we'd take turns fighting 4 to 6 foot long blacktip sharks back to shore.
As soon as we got em in, we'd slice the good parts into shark steaks for the grill, take some more and turn it into shark cevice, and use the rest for bait.
